Porterfield used to be in a band with Justin Vernon a.k.a. Bon Iver. But now
that people are starting to catch on to his new outfit, Field Report, soon
Porterfield will never need to mention his famous friends again. Field Report
crafts beautifully lyrical songs packed with poetic sentiments, with a starkly
sad quiet country sound. It’s music to listen to on a midnight drive. Field

most rap albums. ou would think they were from Cali, the way they blend reggae
and relaxing beach music together. Aer has a smooth style to them that sets
them apart from most rappers, their flow’s ease along the mellow acoustic
tracks they use as beats. Beats that compliment the ridiculously calming vocals
of MCs David Von Mering and Carter Schultz whose voices seem to bounce along
the beats flawlessly.
